The Undomestic Goddess

The Undomestic GoddessThis is entertaining and funny book by Sophie Kinsella author of Shopaholic series. I would say that this book is for women only as only women can understand and relate to stress & issues described in this book. This book is a good read.

I like the way that Sophie Kinsella writes. Luckily, I’ve noticed she’s a young writer (from the photo on the back of the book) so I expect lots of good books from her.

Sometimes, when I am in the mood to see a movie or read a book that is sentimental, loveable, gentle and funny with happy end, this is kind of book that I would choose. Something like Bridget Jones’ Diary. Similar writing style, good British humor and overall excellent book that not only covers topic that young women can relate to, but also addresses everyone’s need to be loved, no matter how stressful or hectic lifestyle they have.

I thought that only guys don’t know how to operate a dishwasher or any other domestic equivalent, but apparently there are some women that are too busy with their career that have problem with any domestic “machinery”. As I am one of those people that like to read operating instructions even on a toaster, I find this book very amusing. I see that any device can be confusing for people that don’t really have sense for “machines”. I am one of them, so I can relate…

Anyway, great chicks flick book. Keep up a good work Sophie Kinsella!
